Due to the current situation regarding the Corona Virus (COVID-19) in the United States, the Officers and Trustees of the National Police Bloodhound Association have voted to cancel the 2020 Spring Seminar in McHenry, MD. The Training Committee is in full support of the Officers and Trustees Decision. Certifications will remain valid until the 2021 Spring Seminar which has been scheduled for April 24th thru 29th, 2021 for all members in good standing who certified with their Bloodhounds at the 2019 Spring Seminar. Handlers are required to maintain a minimum of 16 hours of training per month. Anyone who has registered and submitted their seminar registration fee will have their fee refunded by the Treasurer. Anyone who has made a room reservation at the WISP RESORT, the WISP has informed that it will cancel all reservation made under the NPBA Room Block and will issue refunds if deposits were collected. Be advised, the Fall Seminar is still scheduled to take place in October 17 – 22, 2020. The Safety of the NPBA Members and their families is first and foremost. With this in mind, the above decisions were made. The enclosed NOSE NEWS Spring 2020 Issue was already in print, thus beyond our control to reflect the decision. PLEASE BE SAFE!
